Nikon's fourth professional camera. The F4 was first presented in October 1988 at the Fotokin exhibition in Cologne. This is the first professional autofocus camera manufactured by Nikon. The camera is fully compatible with non-autofocus lenses manufactured from 1959 to the present (with the exception of two lenses for the Nikon F3 AF).
